Broaden the membership base

We have a growing membership. We reach out, connect and dialogue with future members to actively engage with them.

Here for you

We partner with like-minded organizations to strengthen our impact and enhance services for our members.

Many RTOERO member benefits start before retirement—like savings on home and car insurance—so members can begin their retired-ish lifestyle whenever they want. We support members in achieving their retirement vision by providing resources and community connections to help them prepare for retirement with ease, pursue their passions and engage in meaningful activities.

In 2024, RTOERO formed a partnership with TELUS, giving members access to exclusive savings and benefits on mobility and home services.

Strengthening support for of education workers and retirees

Future retirees: To retire or not to retire?

Many education sector workers in Canada may feel ready to retire from their current roles. Still, they are not ready to stop working.
RTOERO has surveyed future retirees from the education sector for the past three years. The 2024 survey included findings from 1,300 education sector workers, the majority within five years of retirement. The survey results offer a glimpse into people’s perceptions of their preparedness for retirement, the types of information they seek, and the various factors impacting their retirement plans.

Expanding Entente Group Insurance Program availability to serve more people

At the end of 2024, RTOERO announced a partnership with PGA of Canada to expand access to the Entente Group Insurance Program.
The agreement with PGA of Canada is the first of its kind for RTOERO and aligns with the organization’s strategic priority to broaden the availability of its non-profit group health insurance plan.
